In athletics, participants get to practice the various athletics disciplines at Tumba's athletics arena Rödstu Hage IP. Those who wish have the opportunity to focus on the branch or branches they like most. Malin Ewerlöf is a mentor in athletics. She started competing as a seven-year-old in the Lilla Lidingö race and eventually became one of the leading Swedish track and field athletes of her time. In 1998, she won Sweden's only medal at the European Championships in Budapest, silver in the 800 meters. Among other things, Malin has held the Swedish records for 800 meters and 1,500 meters. Nowadays, she calls herself an elite exerciser and in the Lidingö race, where it all once began, she came in an impressive second place in 2016.
